Biography
Katie Smith is currently enrolled in her third year at NDSU.
As a student in anthropology she is interested in all four
fields (cultural, biological, linguistic, and archaeology),
but currently has the most experience in the cultural field
of anthropology.
Some classes taken include Magic and Religion, Indians of
the Plains, Folklore and Culture, Human Origins, North American
Prehistory, and currently Visualization in Anthropology.
Through Visualization in Anthropology,she is developing
a familiarity with DreamWeaver, 3D modeling using the Minolta
Vivid scanner and Geomagic Studio, and video editing through
Adobe Premire.
Following graduation from NDSU in the spring of 2003, Katie
plans on attending graduate school, but has not picked a specific
field of study.
